Andrew Luck: Colts not here as tourists
By Simon Fitzjohn
Indianapolis Colts star Andrew Luck insists his side’s trip to London for this weekend’s Wembley clash with the Jacksonville Jaguars is all business – and nothing else.
Quarterback Luck, who spent some of his childhood in the capital, attending The American School in London, will lead the Colts into battle against their divisional rivals in a sold-out showdown.
But don’t expect to see any photos of the Indianapolis squad taking in the sights.
Luck explained: “There is a chance a few of the players may take a look round on the bus, but we are a bunch of mature guys and we are here for a game.
“London is one of my favourite cities in the world, but we can be tourists in the offseason if we want.
“We need to prepare – it is not easy, but both teams are doing it and we just have to adjust.”
The Colts touched down in the UK early Friday morning, looking to build on their first win of the season last time out.
And Luck reckons his side will have worked out any jetlag by the time they take to the Wembley turf. You can use this bonus code for Bet365 if you fancy your chances.
He added: “It was a long flight, and we are tired, but when you start running around and getting the juices flowing you get over it pretty quickly.”
