One of the world’s leading suppliers of track and field equipment, Nordic Sport is the latest supplier to the World Para Athletics Championships which kick off at the London Stadium this week.

Nordic Sport will provide athletic equipment across the World Para Athletics Championships. A family company based in Sweden, Nordic Sport has supplied many of the largest athletics championships across the world including recent non-disabled European Championships in Amsterdam and Zurich which incorporated the Para Athletics Euros.

Products supplied will include high jump, long jump and throwing equipment.

Niels de Vos, Championship Director, said: “I am delighted to have Nordic Sport on board.  Their experience with previous major championships means we can be confident that top quality equipment will be supplied giving the athletes the best possible opportunity to perform at their best.  We look forward to working with them going forward.”

Dennis Österberg, Deputy Managing Director, Nordic Sport said: “We are happy to add the World Para Athletics Championships to a long list of major athletics events we have worked with in the past 45 years. We are looking forward to many new personal bests and world records from athletes using Nordic Sport equipment.”

This year will bring together more than 3000 world-class athletes from more than 200 countries, who will compete in 30 sessions across 20 jam-packed and action-fueled days as both the World Para Athletics Championships (14-23 July) and IAAF World Championships London 2017 (04-13 August) are hosted in London this summer.
