Rudy Gay - US Sports
Rudy Gay is an NBA basketball player for the Memphis Grizzlies.
The Baltimore-born forward played for University of Connecticut before turning pro in 2006, when he was snapped up by Houston Rockets. He was traded to the Grizzlies soon after, going on to claim a place in the NBA All-Rookie first team in his maiden season, finishing third overall.
In January of this year, Gay tied Shane Battier as the franchise’s all-time steals leader with 523 steals. The 26-year-old also helped the US team claim gold at the 2010 FIBA World Championship.
