Georgie Twigg - Olympics
Georgie Twigg is 21 years old and was a member of the GB women's hockey squad who won bronze at the London 2012 Olympics.
She first played hockey at the age of 7, progressed through the England U16s and made her international debut in 2010 and she currently plays for Surbiton HC in the Investec Women's Premier Division.
As well as earning a place in the Olympic squad earlier this year, Georgie also managed to graduate this Summer from Bristol University with a 2:1 in Law.
Bonita Norris grew up in Wokingham, Berkshire and studied at Royal Holloway University of London and in 2009, achieved a BA Media Arts.
On 17th May 2010, at the age of 23, Bonita became the youngest person in the world to have stood at both the summit of Everest and the Geographic North Pole. It was an act of physical courage and daring that made headlines, but dramatic details of her successful attempt revealed that it nearly ended in tragedy after she suffered from a fall in the “death zone” on her decent. Few live to tell the tale of an incapacitating injury in the infamous stretch which starts at about 7,500m above sea level and carries its dark nickname because no one can survive there for more than a few hours.
Having had a taste of the action and keen to test her limits again, in 2012 now 24, she has taken to climbing the Himalayas as her next challenge.
When Bonita is not taking on the biggest summits on earth, she is inspiring people with her journey through after dinner and motivational speaking.
Branching out in a new direction, Bonita will become the face of Red Bull Cliff Diving 2012 presenting the series for Dave from 7 jaw dropping locations as she follows all the action from around the globe.
After exams, exams and more exams it’s been a welcome
return to all things hockey! Having stuttered at the start
of the month with a loss and a draw, we really needed to win
our last two matches to have a chance of sneaking into the
playoffs and qualify for Investec Finals Weekend on...

It feels so good to be looking at a computer screen without
having law revision notes splattered all over it! I’ve
just finished a set of twelve exams and it’s such a relief
they’re all over and my life can return to some kind of
normality.

Christmas this year was definitely preferable to the 2011

When I left you last, I was heading off to Buckingham Palace
for an Olympic reception with my GB teammates and all the
other medal winners from 2012.
Sometimes those kind of evenings can be a bit stiff but all
the royals were very relaxed and chatted openly with
everybody.
