Making his debut for Yorkshire in 1997, left-arm seamer Ryan Sidebottom was handed his first Test opportunity with England in 2001. However, it wasn't until 2007 that Ryan earned his second Test cap and became an established part of the bowling lineup. In 2010 he lifted the World Twenty20 trophy with his country and helped Nottinghamshire to a first County Championship in 18 years in 2005. He gave Sportsvibe his thoughts on the Ashes outcome.
"I think it could be like England in 2009 when a session changes the game, whether it's an important wicket or someone scoring a quick fifty. I think it might be 2-0, but maybe that is me being patriotic. It might be a bit closer than that but I will stick with the 2-0 win as on paper England have a slight edge in the bowling attack because of the spin department."

Mr Betdaq
Considering their position after the first innings, a draw at the Gabba for England was as good as a win, and the momentum is with the tourists now. The series could be decided on how things pan out at the Adelaide Oval in the second Test.
Currently, there's not much to choose between the sides for the series, with the Aussies offered at 6/4 on Betdaq and England at 7/5.
A 1-1 series result and a 2-1 win to England are the joint favourite correct series score outcomes at 6/1 which suggests that there are plenty of Betdaq punters who agree with Ryan that England will retain the urn, but they also think it will be an extremely close contest.
I also think it will be closer than Ryan's prediction, but England's superior bowling attack does give them a slight edge and I think that Andrew Strauss and co will return home in triumph. I predict a 2-1 Ashes win for the Three Lions.
