After 35 years of disappointment, England finally managed to win their first ever one-day international tournament. Having lost in the final on four previous occasions, it was made all the more special as the mighty Australians were brushed aside in Barbados.
It has been quite a turnaround for an England side that only 12 months ago was losing to the Netherlands. Now that England have come across a winning formula should they change the 50 over side as well?
Paul Collingwood was deemed an inspirational leader by his teammates so should the Durham all rounder become the one-day captain and with the success of Lumb and Kieswetter is there a place in the side for Andrew Strauss?
