Is It The End For Beckham?

David Beckham’s dream of appearing at a fourth World Cup was ruined yesterday as the former England captain suffered an achilles tendon injury. The midfielder was stretchered off during Milan’s win over Chievo and now looks certain to miss the World Cup.

Although no longer an England regular, Beckham was still a major part of Fabio Capello’s plans and looked certain to be on the plane to South Africa. So what will come next for the former Manchester United and Real Madrid superstar? Will he continue to ply his trade in the MLS or could this be the end for one of England’s most capped players?
