Christine Ohuruogo is anything but the shy, quiet, hating the media-type figure that she is sometimes portrayed to be, ducking the spotlight because of those who continue to criticise her for missing three random drugs tests and being banned for a year as a result. I met her last week and was struck by just how outward-going and full of fun this University College, London graduate really is. Whatever you may feel about the drugs controversy - and let's remember she never tested positive for anything and committed the same crime as Rio Ferdinand - she has served her sentence and since went on to win the World and then Olympic titles. It will be interesting to see how she fares after losing her world title last August but my bet, having spent an hour in her company, is that she will bounce back in style at the Europeans and Commonwealths next year before setting her sights on the 2011 world championships and the big one, the London 2012 Olympics.
