It's Too Close a Shave for Woods and Henry, but not for Federer!

Take a look at the American Gillette commercial which you can watch in the features section of Sportsvibe TV. In it you will see Tiger Woods and Derek Jeter shaking their heads as Roger Federer plays the fool. It's the same story with the European version, as well, with Woods and Thierry Henry treating Federer like their idiot younger brother. There's every chance Messrs Woods and Henry were shaking their heads again on Sunday as Federer was demolishing Andy Murray to pick up his 16th Grand Slam title, but this time shaking their heads at how life can serve up the most unexpected turns. While Woods is out of the picture, trying to salvage his marriage, his earning power and his golf after a long list of now public extra-marital affairs, and Henry remains persona non grata in football after his blatant cheating got France to the World Cup at the expense of Ireland, Federer marches on, seemingly better than ever, a father and a very happily married husband. Perhaps Gillette should make another advert, but this time have Federer shaking his head at a suitably sheepish Woods and Henry?
