Here's a terrifying thought for all of the world's premier golfers now that Tiger Woods is back on the course and ready to do battle at the Masters this week. For the past six or seven years he has been winning majors with the worries of the world heaped upon his shoulders concerning his numerous affairs and the very real likelihood of his crumbling marriage, let alone the dreadful publicity that has come his way in recent weeks and the loss of lucrative sponsorships. Just how he has managed to be the best on the planet with such concerns in a sport that requires maximum focus is beyond everyone. Now, however, all this is behind him. Sure, he has plenty of work to do on the home front, but the living the lie is over. It means he can concentrate pretty much on his golf now. Yesterday he said his intention this week is to win a 5th Masters green jacket. Love him or loathe him, if he does it will be simply sensational.
