Please Don't Shoot if I'm a Tad Critical!

A message to all sportsmen and women: you are all wonderful, wonderful people who never do anything wrong, never make mistakes and never will. There! That should do it!

I say this because in the Honduras the national football team's goalkeeper, Donaldo Morales, shot a sports writer, Saul Carrazo, with an air gun - twice - after the scribe had the temerity to criticise the Motagua player in an article writen for the national sports newspaper, "Diaz.."

Carrazo was interviewing another footballer, Jorge Claros, after training when Morales opened fire, striking the journalist twice and also the unlucky Claros. The Motagua President, Pedro Atala, has said that he would sanction Morales for his attack while the trigger happy goalie apologised to the wounded Carrazo. So that's all right, then!
