Nice story from London Irish's Neil Hatley about his old teammate Justin Bishop today at a London Irish lunch in the city of London. Bishop, the former Exiles and Irish international winger, pleaded with Hatley, the former prop, to give the team talk at half-time when Irish found themselves down. "Boys, we must rise like a pheasant from the ashes," Bishop said, as his players began to giggle. "Bish, it's not pheasant, for God's sake, it's phoenix," informed a frustrated Hatley. "Damn," Bishop replied, "I knew it was a bird beginning with an f." Whether it's really true or not, it made me laugh!
