Adidas have launched the new England Test and One Day International cricket kits, which will be worn during the 2010 season. The new Test kit will first be worn by the England players during the summer tests against Bangladesh in May.
The Test kit is white with a stand-up collar for UV protection as well as button poppers which are now on a contrast red placket which represents the colours of England and Wales. The One Day International kit is predominantly blue with an embossed lion to the rear, with a new slime green flash under each arm.
Both kits have been specially designed by Adidas to offer the players maximum freedom of movement in the field and when bowling. The technology also ensures that players will be able to keep cool no matter what the conditions thanks to the way the kit is cut.
The new kit will go on sale on 29th April and be available in adidas stores and cricketing shops globally, as well as on adidas.com e-store. Fans should visit www.adidas.com/cricket or visit www.ecb.co.uk to order.
