My Mistake, But It's a Nice Celebrity Idea!

Posted on 13/01/2010

I made an interesting slip up with one of my tweets the other day when I talked of how Mark Foster's specialist subject was "80's Music" on Celebrity Masterchef. Of course, I meant Celebrity Mastermind, in which the swimmer turned "Strictly" star managed to finish, unusually for him, joint last. Still, my purposeful (ahem) mistake was soon spotted by you eagle-eyed Sportsvibe readers who pointed it out on numerous occasions to me. It's not a bad idea, though, is it? Celebrities are asked to cook a meal in front of Gregg Wallace and John Torode and then set two minutes of questions, the winner being the one who has amassed the most points from the two disciplines. Alternatively, you could have celebrities answering questions in the famous black chair before then rustling up a meal in front of judge John Humphreys. Taking it further you could have a celebrity pentathlon, throwing in some DIY, "Dancing on Ice" and a spot of gardening on "Ground Force" as well. I'm joking although I wouldn't put it past some bright spark at the BBC to put it up for commission. If so, hands off! This is my idea!
