Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers believes that he is “the best man for the job”.  Dismissing the claims regarding Jurgen Klopp being lined up to replace him as Liverpool manager this summer, he believes that a great relationship with the owners plays to his advantages.  According to the Mirror, Rodgers faces a bombardment of inevitable questions over his future following a disappointing FA Cup semi-final loss to Aston Villa at the weekend.

Arsenal are set to beat off a host of competition to complete the summer signing of long-term midfield target William Carvalho.  The 23-year-old Sporting Lisbon starlet has long been linked with a move to the Premier League with Arsenal and Louis van Gaal’s Manchester United heavily tipped as potential destinations for the youngster.
