Fiorentina’s sporting director Daniele Prade has admitted that he is unsure of the future of Stevan Jovetic.
The Montenegro international has been heavily linked with moves to Manchester City and Arsenal in the past, having established himself as a key force in Fiorentina’s attacking contingent from a young age. Serie A champions Juventus have also had keen interest in the 23-year-old, but the Viola have been firm in the attempts to hold onto their prized asset.
However that may change depending on Fiorentina’s final league position, Prade has admitted. The club chief has conceded that if the club cannot secure Champions League football this season, then the club may not be able to stop Jovetic from pursuing a move away from the club.
"We’re talking seriously with his agent at the moment", the sporting director told Fiorentinanews.com.
"We will see what happens from here until the end of the season.
"It depends on where we finish in the league, our goals for the future and other things."
