Montpellier president Louis Nicollin has revealed that they have accepted a €14 million offer from Inter Milan for Younes Belhanda.
The 22 year old Moroccan international was thought to be the subject of interest from North London due Arsenal and Tottenham as well as Turkish side Fenerbache, but it now seems he will be moving to the Serie A.
"We have reached an agreement with Inter over a transfer fee of €14m (£11.8m)," Nicollin was quoted as saying by AMKSpor.
"Fenerbahce did not want to pay more than €8m (£6.7m). That's why I have opted to accept Inter's bid instead. Every player has his price, and €8m (£6.7m) is not enough for Belhanda."
Belhanda was one of MHSC's key players last season as they won the Ligue 1 title.
Inter are in the market for a new midfielder following the departure of Wesley Sneijder to Galatasaray earlier this week.
