Contract negotiations between Ajax and Manchester United and Real Madrid target Viktor Vischer have stalled, reports suggest, with the starlet unwilling to resume negotiations until the New Year.
The 18-year-old striker is in his debut season for Ajax, but has impressed in his mere five appearances for the club, already getting two goals under his belt. The Eredivisie champions beat a number of top European clubs to the Dane’s signature following his stand out performances in the U17 World Cup in 2011, but interest emanating from United, Jose Mourinho’s side and also Atletico Madrid has resurfaced.
Ajax have offered the teenager a contract extension in the last week as the club’s sporting director Marc Overmars outlined a number of weeks ago, but Fischer’s agent Soren Lerby has insisted that there will be no new negotiations until January.
"We will continue to negotiate after the Christmas holidays," Lerby told Tipsbladet, Sky Sports report."Viktor is playing and that is good for him. That is the only focus right now."
Fischer grabbed a brace in his first team appearance for Frank de Boer’s side, in a 4-2 win over PEC Zwolle.
