Dusautoir Fired Up For Final

*Ahead of the World Cup Final, French captain Thierry Dusautoir has spoken out about his team’s opportunity to become World Champions.*   The French flanker said he was looking forward to his battle with captain Richie McCaw, but said it wasn’t about trying to shut down just one All Black.  

Weepu Says All Blacks Must Stay Calm

*Less than twenty-four hours before their World Cup final against France, All Blacks scrum-half Piri Weepu says his side must stay calm, as they bid for their first World title since 1987 – when they beat France.  

Wales are dedicating their final game of the World Cup to banned captain Sam Warburton as they look to beat Australia to third place, fly-half James Hook has said.Warburton (pictured following his red card) was controversially sent off for a dangerous tackle on France wing Vincent Clerc during their semi-final defeat last Saturday.  

*As the fallout from England’s disappointing performance at the World Cup continues, former captain Will Carling has branded certain England players' behaviour during the World Cup as "an insult to the shirt", and questioned whether manager Martin Johnson would want to remain in his job, while calling for sweeping reform at the Rugby Football Union.  

Wales coach Warren Gatland has revealed he considered asking one of his forwards to fake injury during their World Cup semi-final against France on Saturday.The Welsh pack was significantly hampered firstly by the eighth minute injury to prop Adam Jones then the first-half dismissal of Sam Warburton.
