Arsenal Target Agrees Emirates Stadium Switch

By in News

Arsenal appear to have landed their first January signing after Legia Warsaw sensation Krystian Bielik revealed he has accepted an offer from the FA Cup holders.
It was reported earlier this week that Warsaw declined an offer from the Gunners for Bielik, who is regarded as one of the most promising talents in Polish football.
But there seems to have been further development behind the scenes, with the Metro reporting the player’s confirmation of his decision to join Arsenal, who are expected to have an active transfer window.
“I’ve made a decision and I’m not going to change it,” he said.
“I am looking forward to an agreement between the heads of the clubs. I realise that the negotiations may take some time.
“I am, however, confident it will happen soon.”
The transfer is expected to be wrapped up for å£2million, which is slightly higher than the å£1.5million Arsenal already offered for the defensive midfielder.
Although Bielik plays in a problem position for Arsenal, he is only 17, which means he could have to wait a while before making his breakthrough at the Emirates Stadium.
Manager Arsene Wenger has come under intense pressure to spend with a centre-back and striker also wanted from demanding fans.
