George Groves To Make Return To The Ring
George Groves has announced he will return to the ring after deliberating retirement from boxing as a whole.
åÊ
Groves failed to become World Champion last month after losing to a split decision against Badou Jack in Las Vegas last month.
åÊ
Groves told the Daily Mail that he is on the look out for a new trainer after the recent spilt with Paddy Fitzpatrick.åÊ
åÊ
Groves has expressed his interest in the possibility of working with Tony Sims, who works out of Essex and is the former coach of Anthony Joshua.
åÊ
Shane McGuigan is another option, and he is coach of the current IBF Bantamweight World Champion Carl Frampton.
åÊ
Groves is also an admirer of what a fine job Robert McCracken did with Carl Froch and would certainly not rule him out as a potential trainer, however farfetched it may seem.åÊ
åÊ
Having taken a well-deserved break from boxing, GrovesÛª immediate target is to find a new trainer.åÊ
åÊ
The desire and ambition to still want to win world titles still burns brightly within Groves, as does the belief that given the chance of another bout against bitter rival and current IBF Super Middleweight World Champion James Degale, he would win.
