First UCI Class 1.1 Road Race in 2017 Hong Kong Cyclothon

Hong Kong Cyclothon is running for the third year this Sunday, 8 October to celebrate cycling with approximately 5,000 cyclists from all corners of the world.

Seventeen professional cycling teams will compete in the first ever UCI Asia Tour Class 1.1 Road Race in Hong Kong. Two UCI World Teams, ORICA-SCOTT and UAE Team Emirates, will join and heat up the intense competition with other award-winning cyclists.

Winner of 2016 Hong Kong Cyclothon International Criterium Matej Mohoric will pedal to defend his championship against world-class contenders, including Olympic Games cyclist Michael Hepburn, Australian National Road Race Champion Luke Durbridge and two-time winner of Japanese National Road Championships Yukiya Arashiro.

Another highlight of Hong Kong Cyclothon, the 50km Ride, will offer over 2,500 cyclists worldwide the exclusive opportunity to explore iconic landmarks of Asia’s World City on bicycles.
