Anthony Joshua’s Helicopter Ride Above the Noise with Beats by Dre
Wednesday 1st November 2017
On Monday, Anthony Joshua joined Beats by Dr. Dre in a helicopter ride for a victory lap from Cardiff to London, after his win inside the distance against Carlos Takam in the Welsh capital on Saturday night.
His victory sets up a big 2018 so the world champion heavyweight took time out to rise above the noise with Beats by Dr. Dre and take in the iconic places that have played an important role in his career on his flight above London, including Wembley Stadium, the venue for his history making victory over Vladimir Klitschko, the length of the Southbank and the home of AJ’s iMax poster. He even spotted his own house in Watford where his humble journey to the top began.
On his helicopter flight, AJ told Beats by Dr. Dre: “You can only dream to achieve what you see and growing up I’d only see these things on TV. It wasn’t a reality and it’s nice to be able to sit in a helicopter now and to fly over London as it looks beautiful up there. With social media, I’m close to a lot of people and friends and can give them an opportunity to see this in real life so hopefully they can be inspired and change their lives and do whatever they want to do”
