Former India pace bowler Irfan Pathan shared that Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) should avoid giving the bowling to their all-rounder Shivam Dube at the death overs in their next games in the IPL 2020. In the first game, they won by 10 runs against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) whereas they faced a massive 97-run defeat against Kings XI Punjab in the next. And, they won their third game in a nail-biting super over against Mumbai Indians on Monday at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium.

“Look, I think they will get better as soon as Chris Morris comes in. I see Morris coming in, (Dale) Steyn going out and they are settled. What I don’t want from RCB is Shivam Dube bowling the death overs,” revealed Pathan while speaking on Star Sports show Cricket Connected.

“They have a better team, they have better batsmen comparatively. They are not just dependent on AB de Villiers or Virat Kohli. This year they have Aaron Finch as well, (Devdutt) Paddikal started very well,” he further added.

The former India speedster again shared that another fast bowler Navdeep Saini should bowl minimum two overs at the death over as he can perfectly bowl Yorkers and also capable of bowling bouncers at the death overs as well.

Meanwhile, Mumbai Indians somehow managed the win over Bangalore in the game despite losing their first three batsmen within a short period of time. It was the young talented batsman Ishan Kishan and their Kieron Pollard who added a 119-run partnership for the fifth-wicket off only 51 balls and their stable knock levelled the scores in their allotted 20 overs where Royal Challengers Bangalore registered a thrilling last-ball win.

While Mumbai Indians will next play against Kings XI Punjab on October 1, Royal Challengers Bangalore will take on Rajasthan Royals on October 3.
